Jackson Reimer Obituary, died in a tragic car accident on July 30 – Funeral Service

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we share the news of the tragic passing of Jackson Reimer, who died in a car accident on July 30, 2025. His sudden loss has left a deep void in the hearts of family, friends, and the many communities he faithfully served. Jackson was a shining light to all who knew him—a man of deep faith, creativity, warmth, and selfless service.

Jackson was widely known and loved in the Queens University community, where he served as the Power to Change Connect Coordinator from 2022 to 2024. As a member of the Servant Team, Jackson made a powerful and lasting impact during his four years at Queens. His presence there was more than a role—it was a ministry of love, joy, and encouragement.

Through every game he organized, every laugh he shared, and every heartfelt moment he created, Jackson embodied the spirit of service with humility and energy. His unique creativity and sense of humor brought joy to many. But above all, Jackson always pointed people back to what mattered most to him—his unwavering belief in Jesus. Whether planning events or serving behind the scenes, he carried himself with grace and compassion, never seeking recognition, but always offering it to others.

Beyond the Queens community, Jackson Reimer’s impact extended to the lives he touched at Camp Mini-Yo-We and Ontario Pioneer Camp, where he faithfully served and inspired others. These ministries were dear to his heart, and the people he encountered there speak of him with deep admiration, describing him as someone who truly lived out his faith in action.

As we mourn this immense loss, we also stand in gratitude for the gift of Jackson’s life. He was a beloved son, brother, teammate, and friend. Our hearts are especially with the Reimer family—Mike, Danielle, Josh, and Emma—during this time of unimaginable grief. The overwhelming outpouring of love and sorrow from those who knew Jackson is a testament to the powerful legacy he leaves behind.

Jackson’s father, Mike Reimer, shared a touching message on Facebook, reflecting his son’s enduring faith:

“Jackson would want you to know that God is good—100% of the time.”
Even in the midst of tragedy, Jackson’s life continues to point others toward hope, faith, and the goodness of God.

For those wishing to honor his life and legacy, a memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 9th in the afternoon at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Orillia, Ontario. Final details and timing will be shared in due course.

We invite everyone who knew Jackson or was touched by his ministry to join in remembrance and celebration of a life lived with purpose and love. As a community, we grieve this tremendous loss, but we also rejoice in the truth that Jackson’s life was a reflection of Christ, and his impact will not be forgotten.

Rest in peace, Jackson Reimer. Your light, laughter, and legacy will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew you. You ran your race well, and you have returned home.
